The experimental duo kÖök continues their journey into the unknown and invites vocalist Sarah Camille and folk musician, Harding fiddler and harpist Tuva Færden into their musical universe. Over a few days in the studio, the four musicians have played and experimented with sound and interplay, and the result is a unique soundscape consisting of poetry, improvised Norwegian folk tunes and extended use of instruments, voice and space.
The music and song titles paint a picture of a gloomy world, but with hope for a brighter future. Together with the cover, which is adorned with an artwork by Henriette Mauritz Nordbeck, the tapestry called "Jevndøgn", this is a tightly woven and genre bending encounter you don't want to miss this fall.
Recorded in Børsen Kulturhus, Tangen, Norway 8 - 9 January 2025
Mixed and mastered by Christian Obermayer at Strype Audio
